One firm, every season of tax.
Tax isn't a once-a-year event. We work the calendar with you — planning ahead, advising through the year, and filing what needs to be filed.
Tax Planning & Strategy
Quarterly modeling so April is a non-event — and your structure earns back the fee.
How planning works →Tax Compliance & Filings
Federal, state, and multi-state returns done right and on time — for the entity and its owners. And when a notice or audit shows up, your CPA answers it.
What we file →Bundled on purpose.
Your fee covers the return, unlimited tax planning, and audit representation for any return we prepare — no hourly meter, no per-question billing. We bundle so you never hesitate to call while there's still time to act.
Most owners meet their accountant once a year and hope for the best. I started Tax Foundry so they'd have a partner in the room all year — making the decisions that actually move the number.
Meet Chris, your next CPA.
Tax Foundry was founded by Chris — an Army veteran and CPA who started his tax career at EY and PwC in their partnership tax groups. Since 2019, he's focused that training on small and mid-sized businesses, where the work is more varied and the relationships actually matter.
The result is a practice that brings Big 4 technical depth to the clients big firms either won't take or won't prioritize: founders, owner-operators, and growing businesses that need a CPA they can actually call.
Schedule a discovery call →Your tax data is nobody's product.
A tax return is the most complete financial picture of your life that exists. Here's how we treat it.
Your data never trains an AI model.
Your returns and financials are never fed into AI training algorithms — ours or anyone else's. Software serves the work; your data doesn't serve the software.
Your return never leaves the country.
Discount prep firms quietly ship returns overseas for processing. Ours are prepared and reviewed in the U.S. — by the CPA you actually hired, never subcontracted.
Your information stays between us.
Your data is never shared with third parties. What you send your CPA stays with your CPA.
Documents move through an encrypted portal.
Returns and source documents are exchanged through an encrypted client portal — not sitting in email attachments.
Questions owners actually ask.
Who does Tax Foundry work with?
Owner-operators, S-corps, LLCs, and partnerships — founders and professional practices that want a CPA involved year-round, not just at filing time. Remote-first, in all 50 states.
What's the difference between tax preparation and tax planning?
Preparation records the year you already had; planning changes it. We model entity structure, owner compensation, retirement, and credits throughout the year — while there's still time to act — then file returns that match the plan.
Can you handle an IRS notice or audit?
Yes. IRS and state representation is part of our compliance practice — notices, audits, and back-tax cleanup are handled by the CPA who already knows your file. And if a return we prepared is ever audited, representation is included in the cost of the return — we stand behind our work.
See how representation works →Is my tax data used to train AI or sent overseas?
No. Client data is never used to train AI models, never sent overseas, and never shared with third parties. Every return is prepared and reviewed in the U.S. by your CPA, and documents move through an encrypted client portal.
How do fees work?
One flat fee, quoted in writing after a discovery call — no hourly meters, no surprise bills. Tax planning and preparation are bundled together: your fee covers the return plus unlimited year-round tax planning and advice — and if the IRS ever audits a return we prepared, representation is included. Every engagement is scoped so the projected savings exceed the fee.
Why do you bundle tax planning and preparation into one fee?
Because hourly billing makes clients ration their questions. When every call starts a meter, you wait until April to ask — after the window to act has closed. One bundled fee covers your return and unlimited planning conversations, so you reach out the moment something changes: a big contract, an equipment purchase, a new hire, a move. Good tax outcomes come from questions asked early.
Bring last year's return. We'll find what it missed.
